The McCormick Murder : Saturday 19th March : [Start: 10:00 Hours]

The body of a teenage girl has been found in a wooded hollow area within the grounds of Blakemere Hall, some distance away from the hall. The victim has been raped and seriously assaulted which has caused the death of the young girl. The victim has not yet been formally identified, but is believed to be the local girl Emma McCormick from nearby Northwich.

Emma McCormick has been reported missing at 05:00 hours this morning by her worried parents. A local police patrol attended Emma’s address at 05:30 hours this morning to ascertain details for the missing persons report. The patrol that visited Emma’s home address has confirmed that Emma attended a birthday party in Chester with friends the previous evening.

A similar murder occurred 3 months ago in the neighbouring town of Winsford. It is now thought that the same assailant could be responsible for both crimes.

It is now essential that the crime scenes at Blakemere Hall are processed as thoroughly and quickly as possible in an effort to identify the offender as soon as possible to prevent any other incidents occurring.
